Professional Development & Retreat

Boojum offers retreat and seminar planning services for groups interested in holding meetings and events at locations throughout the country. The Institute arranges facilities and catering, provides on-site retreat facilitation services, and offers assistance in developing meeting agendas and retaining speakers and entertainment.

Location & Facilities

Accommodations include resorts, hotels, inns, lodges and cabins. Tent camping or using a local camp facility are great options for cost-conscious groups and those wishing to have a more rustic experience. A variety of meeting spaces are available, including lodge and breakout rooms. Our caterers offer excellent meal options for groups of all types, from sit-down dining to moderately priced buffet-style fare.

Workshops, Challenge Courses & Outdoor Programs

Groups may incorporate strategic planning, goal setting, team building, or communications and leadership skills workshops into their programs along with challenge/ropes courses and initiative activities. Because Boojum specializes in providing custom-designed outdoor programs, we can offer groups unique opportunities to incorporate outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing and orienteering into the meeting agenda.

Backcountry Meeting Programs

Backcountry meeting programs allow groups to hold meetings while participating in outdoor programs, such as backpacking in the Sierra Nevada mountains, paddling on the Colorado River or rock climbing in Joshua Tree National Park.
