The Boojum Institute's work with disadvantaged and at-risk youth is almost entirely supported by donations and grants. We rely on support from people like you to enable us to give young people from disadvantaged backgrounds what is often their first chance to be in an unspoiled natural environment outside the city. Boojum Adventure Challenge programs address barriers to achievement through group and individual exploration and involve students in dynamic activities that help build self-confidence and self-esteem. We work with community partner agencies like the Salvation Army and the Los Angeles Police Department youth activities to help enrich their programs and to provide continuity from the wilderness setting back into the community.
Boojum has been fortunate to receive support from a number of foundations for our work with at-risk youth. For more about foundation support of the Institute click Foundation Support.
Donations to the Boojum Institute, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, are tax deductible. Please consider giving a deserving child a chance to experience a whole new world.
